Thomas Lempert (Sherab Gyatso)
I am deeply grateful that we can experience the profound teachings of Tibetan Buddhism relatively easily in our modern times. Already as a child and teenager I was interested in religion and spirituality and "the last things" (where do I come from, where am I going, why am I here, why is there suffering and injustice, ...), was taken with inspiring religious people and felt comfortable as a seeker.
- Spiritual practice since the age of twenty, mainly in Buddhism, initially in the Theravada tradition, now mainly in Vajrayana with Tulku Lobsang Rinpoche (Gelug, Bön), H.E. Choekyi Nangpa Rinpoche (Jonang) and Lama Tsultrim Allione (Nyingma, Kagyu)
- Deep devotion also to Pema Chodron and H.H. Kyapgon Ngawang
- Ngondro in the Jonangpa tradition
- Studied ethnology, psychology and theology (Master of Theology)
- Four-year further training in Yi-Qi-Gong with the Buddhist-Taoist master Chen Yongzhi
- Dancer with Sasha Waltz and Anzu Furukawa, worked with Anna Halprin and Kazuo Ohno
- Federally recognized psychotherapist, systemic organizational consultant, art and dance therapist and certified teacher for TogChöd (Tibetan sword form), mindfulness meditation (Shiné) and Tibetan 5-element practices
- Buddhist teacher at various locations in German-speaking countries
- Trainer for psychotherapy, buddhist psychology, art therapy, coaching and counseling
- Teacher of the combination of sexual NeoTantra and Buddhist Tantra
- Representative of Buddhism and the Songtsen House (Tibetan-Asian cultural center) in the Zurich Forum of Religions
